天氣很好地！心情沈重地！我......到底是什麼樣的自我？什麼樣的虛偽？

Evan Dando！檸檬頭（Lemonheads）樂隊的首腦人物！於八零年代於波士頓組成，不同於 Husker Du與 The Replacements的狂野～在那段後龐克盛行的日子裡，Evan以其稚嫩帶點沙啞的嗓音，在美國那個硬蕊搖滾盛行的年代裡，他們除了硬蕊龐克外亦加入了早期美國傳統鄉謠的元素，走出了不同的一番天地～早期的專輯走的是普普通通的硬蕊龐克，但也翻唱了兩首著名的曲子：Suzanne Vega的Luka及Simon & Garfunkel的Mrs. Robinson，這兩首歌帶給大家的印象一般而言是屬於輕鬆而令人聽了會想要舞動的曲子（雖然歌詞表達未必是那麼一回事！）他們賦予了這一首歌不同於以往的爆發力！也使他們開始逐漸的成名～

Car Button Cloth這張專輯發表於96年，離上一張專輯有三年之久！專輯中Evan走出了毒品的陰影，重拾他所擅長的鄉村民謠與硬蕊龐克的結合～悅耳的旋律加上歌詞中所透露的那一段戒毒的痛苦日子。顯示了Evan不同於其他創作歌手的才華！在專輯中他亦使用了不少較特殊的歌曲演奏手法，諸如以敲擊鍋碗的方法代替打鼓，以口哨聲來形容他內心既苦悶又想強顏歡笑的感覺！if i could talk i'd tell you即為其中代表歌曲，雖然檸檬頭實際上為Evan一人為主的樂隊，團員亦歷經了多次的變動，但他擅長譜寫悅耳旋律的功夫不曾有所消減～期待他下一張專輯！
